If you listen to the title song and Symphony Of Praise, you think you will have a lovely and cheerful I Love You album. Don't be fooled. There is always You Can't Go Back. This is a multifaceted, rocking out critique of those churches who at the time refused to listen to new voices, explore new theology, play new music, and dismantle those formal authoritarian structures that kept the old and rich in charge and sent so many youthful voices away. This album marked my first use of the synthesizer as a part of the musical texture.
